The Needles:
Tulip Brand Sashiko Needles, from Hiroshima Needles. Designed to pass through fabric smoothly.

For the LONG needles set, THN-030e, package of six needles, two of each:
1.02mm diameter x 66.7mm length (approximately 2.6" length)
0.84mm diameter x 51.5mm length.(approximately 2" length)
0.97mm diameter x 44.5mm length (approximately 1.75" length)

For the SHORT needles set, THN-031e, package of six needles, two of each:
0.84mm diameter x 45.5mm length (approximately 1.8" length)
0.91mm diameter x 42.9mm length (approximately 1.7" length)
0.84mm diameter x 36.4mm length(approximately 1.4" length)

For the BIG EYE "THIN SIZE" needles set, THN-103e, package of 4 needles, all the same size:
.84mm diameter x 51.5mm length.(approximately 2" length)
The eyes on these needles are larger than those on the long needles.

For the BIG EYE "THICK SIZE" needle set, THN-102e, 4 needles, all the same size:
.91mm diameter x 51.5mm length (approximately 2" length)

Each needle set is packaged in a clear plastic tube with cork lid. Boxed as shown.

The Threads:
Olympus Sashiko thread, 100% cotton. 22 yards/20 meters per skein.
The perfect cotton thread for traditional Sashiko embroidery. It has a smooth, matte finish.
